Harry Houldey senior player at Dumfries Rugby Club

Proud to Support Dumfries Saints Player Harry Houldey

At Far’n’Beyond, we’ve always believed that strong teams are built on shared values. Hard work, reliability and looking out for one another sit at the heart of everything we do — which is why we’re proud to sponsor Harry Houldey, senior player at Dumfries Rugby Club.

Having seen Harry’s commitment both on and off the pitch, through our work together over several years, this sponsorship is a natural fit for Far'n'Beyond.

A Strong Work Ethic On and Off the Pitch

Away from rugby, Harry manages a busy family farm near Lockerbie, working with cattle and sheep, alongside helping with the day-to-day running of a hurdle manufacturing business.

Farming is demanding, physical and often unpredictable work — something that requires focus, resilience and a strong sense of responsibility.

Balancing that with training and playing competitive rugby is no small task, and it’s a reflection of Harry’s dedication and professionalism that he continues to give his all to both.

“Rugby, farming and running a business all rely on the same mindset. You need good people around you, you need to plan ahead, and you need to put the work in every day. Having Far’n’Beyond’s support means a lot because those values really do align.”

Rugby is built on trust and teamwork. Every player depends on the people around them, whether it’s at a scrum, in defence, or chasing the final whistle. That same mentality runs through Far’n’Beyond.

From design and print through to digital and fulfilment, our work relies on people pulling together, communicating clearly and taking pride in what they deliver — especially when deadlines are tight.

As Adam Moody, Managing Director of Far'n'Beyond, explains:

“Harry’s work ethic really stood out to us. Balancing farming, business and rugby takes real commitment, and those are the same qualities we value within our own team. Supporting him through player sponsorship felt like the right thing to do.”

Supporting Local Sport and Community

Player sponsorship at Dumfries Saints is about more than logos or visibility. It’s about backing individuals who contribute to their club and community, and who represent the sport in the right way.

Harry does exactly that — whether it’s on match day or through the work he does away from the pitch — and we’re proud to support him as part of the Saints family.

We’ll be following Harry’s progress closely throughout the season and wish him and the rest of Dumfries Saints every success.

Supporting people who share our values, take pride in their work and understand the importance of teamwork is something we genuinely care about — whether that’s in rugby, farming, or the work we do every day at Far’n’Beyond.
