At Far’n’Beyond, we’ve always taken our responsibility to the environment seriously.
From switching to paper bubble wrap and renewable-powered hosting, to developing fully recyclable products and supporting UK-based initiatives, sustainability continues to influence the decisions we make as a business.
So when we moved to our studio and warehouse and had the opportunity to support a local environmental initiative right on our doorstep, it felt like a natural fit.

Just off the M1 on the A63 towards Garforth, Leeds City Council introduced areas of relaxed mowing — a simple but effective initiative designed to give nature more space to thrive.
Rather than maintaining roadside grass through regular cutting, these areas are left to grow naturally, with mowing reduced to once a year.
The result is something you can see change throughout the seasons.

What starts as open green space gradually becomes a more natural landscape, filled with wildflowers, longer grasses, and increased biodiversity. It creates a habitat for birds, insects, and small animals, while also supporting pollinators such as bees — all contributing to a healthier local ecosystem.
Supporting the relaxed mowing schedule is another step we can proudly take to support Leeds' ambition of being a carbon-neutral city by 2030.
The popular Parks and Countryside Sponsorship Scheme has been part of the city for more than 20 years, helping Leeds become the third largest green city in the UK, and plays a key part in Leeds City Council's climate emergency work.
Over the past three years, we’ve been proud to support this initiative through the Parks and Countryside Sponsorship Scheme.

During that time, we’ve had the opportunity to watch the area evolve — from freshly cut verges to vibrant, natural spaces that bring colour and movement to a busy roadside.
It’s a small change with a visible impact, and one that reflects how simple decisions can support wider environmental goals.
Supporting relaxed mowing aligns closely with what we do at Far’n’Beyond and Really Good Branding.
We’ve long promoted environmentally conscious products, including branded wildflower seed packets and ‘throw and grow’ seed balls — simple, effective ways for businesses to support pollination and biodiversity.

Alongside this, our Tree Project initiative continues to reward more sustainable choices, helping to plant trees across the UK as part of our wider environmental commitment.
We’re also proud supporters of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, reinforcing our focus on both local and national environmental impact.
It’s been a pleasure to support and to watch evolve over the past three years — a reminder that meaningful environmental change doesn’t always need to be complex. Sometimes, it’s simply about giving nature the space to grow.
