Last year, the Far'n'Beyond team helped raise funds for the first-ever Great Leeds Walk, hiking over 26 miles for Leeds Children's Charity.
This year we are delighted to be sponsoring the Great Leeds Walk with our creative and printing services, providing an updated logo for the event, promotional literature and walking guide.

Following the success of the inaugural event, which covered many of Leeds' most picturesque outdoor areas, several charities have been added to this year's 10, 17, and 26-mile walks.
The Leeds Children's Charity at Lineham Farm supports vulnerable children from Leeds with respite breaks and outdoor activities, helping them build confidence, foster friendships, and improve their wellbeing.
Leeds & Wakefield RSPCA rescues and rehomes animals in need while promoting responsible pet ownership and offering community support and education.

Simon on the Streets offers emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Leeds, Bradford, and Huddersfield.
SNAPS offers physiotherapy, swimming, and fun activities for children with additional needs, alongside support for their families.
The Candlelighters charity, supports children with cancer and their families across Yorkshire with emotional, practical, and financial help throughout treatment and beyond.

Working closely with Phil from Overlimits, who has been walking and raising money for local charities for several decades, we began the process of producing a logo which would work well on medals, apps and sit well alongside other brands.
Incorporating the ancient steps of 'Jacob's Ladder', a key and challenging component of the walk and a representation of an Owl the logo needed to be clean, simple, and in line with the existing branding.

The logo was first used on the printed promotional literature that we produced for distribution by the charities and other supporting organisations, such as Go Outdoors.
From our own experiences of the route, we then tackled the walking guide to help visually communicate each milestone, break points and facilities, keeping a sense of scale using visual cues throughout the document.
Once approved, we then proceeded with the production of the A5 Printed Booklets which will be used by fundraisers at the event.

We are delighted to have supported the Great Leeds Walk and wish everyone involved the very best as they raise money for fantastic charities.
