Presentation & Display Packaging

Presentation Can Packaging

At Far'n'Beyond we work with our clients to produce recyclable cardboard packaging designed to display and securely transport the products.

To help showcase their range of flavoured Oatmilk cans, the creative team at Minor Figures contacted us to develop bespoke packaging that would protect them during transport whilst highlighting their original artwork.

Promotional Display Packaging

We have worked with minor figures on several projects utilising our wide range of print and production methods, including specialist inks and materials, so they came to us first when they needed packaging for their Barista Brews variety packs.

The first stage was to develop a retail-quality presentation box to hold the pre-made plant-based drinks in position.

With samples of the product received, our team set to work on selecting the most appropriate material for the project and then developing a physical sample for testing and approval.

Interlocking Printed Packaging Boxes

Holding the weight of five filled drink cans whilst staying perfectly intact during delivery to ensure a positive opening experience for recipients was vital.

Focusing on sustainability, durability and brand identity, we produced a box with windows that display the product, with the flaps holding and protecting the cans from banging into each other.

We chose to use a single-sided corrugated E-Flute packaging board. This has an entirely clay-coated surface and a Kraft base sheet for added flexibility and strength.

The display box utilises a fully interlocking design that doesn't require any glue. By printing directly to the board, we also ensure the packaging is 100% recyclable in general paper and cardboard recycling channels.

Cardboard Packaging Printing

Working with our packaging team, we then ensured in addition to the strength, branding area, and environmental considerations, we reviewed the opening experience to ensure it opens easily for the recipient.

With the packaging template developed and tested, a physical sample was produced and approved before design guidelines were produced for the client.

Minor Figures use their distinct artwork, so it was important to make sure their unique designs stand out with a high-quality print finish.

The boxes were manufactured using a specialist flatbed printer, with the board printed, before being creased and cut by the same machine.

The Barista Brews pack features five varieties of Minor Figures' Barista Oat dairy-free coffee and tea, brewed in East London.

Their 100% plant-based ethos is just one of the reasons they first chose to work with us - another UK-based business with sustainability at heart.
