Having worked with Marmion for several years, we were delighted to be asked to refresh their logo and help align the brand with their values as an ethical recruitment company.
Following industry research, the project’s first stage was to identify Marmion’s unique selling point, their position in the market and develop an understanding of the team and their objectives.
Our brainstorming session clearly showed that people are at the heart of Marmion’s decision-making process, highlighting their commitment to doing things properly for both employers and candidates.
Gathering this information enabled our creative team to identify that the new brand should focus on the connection between candidates and employers, provided by Marmion, along with a trusting and personable non-sales approach to recruitment.
Recruitment Company Logo & Brand Design
At Far’n’Beyond we believe that delivering an effective logo design, looks beyond just the visual aesthetics of the mark and focuses on the strategy behind it and how a logo has room to evolve into other visual elements that form the brand.
Developing a comprehensive brand package, our creative team worked with the Marmion to produce all the resources required to deliver a consistent look across all channels, including social media, documents, presentations, merchandise, stationery and the office.
The logo design focuses on the ‘understanding people first’ aspect of the brand, using icons of people to form the logo. In addition, colour is used within the logo to represent the candidate, employer, and the Marmion team, coming together in a single ‘m’ motif that creates a unique, simplistic, and personal brand mark.
The brand colours, soft shapes and rounded font have all been chosen to showcase the warm, friendly and caring approach at the core of Marmion’s’ values, whilst also showing an equal understanding of both candidate and employers, as they bring the two together.
Brand & Marketing Strategy
With our first phase of research completed, we invested time in Marmion’s wider strategy to ensure that the design and brand elements all worked in harmony.
Developing the website structure around specific keywords that target the ideal audience provided the foundation for future marketing activity whilst also enabling us to focus on the unique features that make Marmion unique.
This marketing-focused approach enabled us to develop a tone of voice for the brand, encapsulated with the key phrase ‘Understanding People First’.
The tagline communicates how Marmion focuses on understanding both employers and employees to deliver the best service, understanding people first… always.
Recruitment Company Branding Design & Print
As a full-service marketing agency, Far’n’Beyond is on hand to work across all disciplines to deliver all the resources to ensure a seamless deployment across both digital and print.
Office signage and branded merchandise utilised various graphic elements and shapes created from the free-flowing nature of the primary logo. These give the brand a warm, calm and softer feeling, which throughout our conversations with the Marmion team are key in their approach to both employer and candidate.
The shapes can be used to highlight words within various graphics, create structure within the designs, and highlight how Marmion works collectively as a business.
