Far'n'Beyond is delighted to again be supporting the Leeds Rag Fashion Show.
The Leeds Rag Fashion Show (LFRS) is a highly anticipated charity event that takes place annually. We have worked with the organisers of LFRS for several years and it’s always a privilege to be involved in the show that since its inception has raised thousands of pounds for charity.
LFRS brings combines the talent of students from all of the Universities in Leeds and the them for the 11th LFRS this year is 'The Collection' including Romanticism, Impressionism, Cubism, Surrealism and Pop Art.
"Think art throughout the ages. Think classical, then think modern. Think about how art and fashion go hand in hand with each other, and hand in hand with music and performance."
LFRS was winner of the Event of the Year at the National Student Fundraising Awards 2018 and we are in no doubt that this will be another superb occasion.
In 2019, LFRS will be raising money for Behind Closed Doors and the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
An estimated 1.9m adults aged 16–59 years experienced domestic abuse in 2016 (ONS).
Working within the Leeds Domestic Violence Service, Behind Closed Doors aims to prevent the escalation of violence and help those affected, with practical issues such as housing and civil legal proceedings and emotional support to assist with the psychological damage of such abuse.

The 5th most common cause of cancer death in the UK, pancreatic cancer receives only 2% of the national spend on cancer research.
The Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund aims to improve survival rates of the disease, which has only a 5% survival rate for patients beyond five years, by funding vital research.

We are always pleased to work on the LFRS project. The event is unique in highlighting the important work of the charities it supports, raising much-needed funds and showcasing the extraordinary talent, creativity and diversity within the City of Leeds from students studying at Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Arts University and Leeds College of Music.
