Mooli offers handmade, fresh Indian food to its customers throughout the UK. Intending to bring the real India back home to the UK, Sangeeta began working with Far'n'Beyond in the early days of her business adventure.
During this time, we have developed a variety of custom packaging sleeves, labels, tags, menus, envelopes, postcards, and signage, delivering a comprehensive design and print service to support Mooli's growth.
From an initial website enquiry, we developed an estimate based on the food tray measurements supplied by Sangeeta and expected variations.
After discussing the quote, we tested the measurements against the physical trays before proofing the artwork and confirming the order details with the client.
We agreed that glued tabs would be most appropriate for the food sleeves, which were produced on a material suitable for refrigeration and great for printing.
Ensuring the correct materials are used is important for food packaging, as changing temperatures, moisture and oils can all cause the ink to spoil or board to fail.
The team also took similar care when considering the materials and production methods of the food labels, menus and postcards, which are included with each delivery.
