To celebrate the launch of Manchester Sports Bar & Kitchen BOX, Budvar teamed up with the venue to deliver beer boxes, inviting local businesses to their VIP launch night.
Our team developed and designed a printed box to hold four cans of Budweiser Budvar securely in place whilst showcasing the collaboration between BOX and the Czech larger.
Budweiser Budvar and BOX planned to gift the beers as part of a giveaway to encourage potential customers to visit the bar and celebrate its launch.
The Box promo team delivered the branded boxes to local businesses in central Manchester, so it was crucial the packaging could be carried easily and withstand the weight of the cans.
We chose a folding board box, commonly used for retail packaging, providing structural strength and a perfect canvas for printing. A responsibly sourced paperboard, it is a sustainable and domestic recyclable material.
BOX kindly supplied four cans of Budvar Beer to enable us to measure, test and mockup guides for the packaging. Producing a box with a robust base that wouldn't fall away whilst also being easy to assemble was key, as they would be finished on-site ahead of the promotion.
Producing a blank sample for final testing and approval, we then arranged for a keyline drawing to be created so the artwork could be applied.
Using our supplied template the company provided print-ready artwork that combined the brands and messages that needed to be communicated.
Each of the boxes was supplied flat and pre-glued, so it popped open with just the interlocking flaps to be coordinated to provide a strong and firm box for the addition of the Budvar cans.
