On a mission to make wine and cheese produce more accessible, The Deli Society needed food packaging for their new 'night in' range.
Brothers Josh and Harry knew their subscription boxes had to appeal to customers' knowledge about regional wines, paired cheeses and craft charcuteries while also attracting an audience looking for a fuss-free product.

To achieve this, The Deli Society approached the Far'n'Beyond packaging team to help develop a range of sleeves and boxes ahead of their full product range launch.

The mix of accessible and indulgent was a challenging balance to find, and our client was unsure where best to start.
Using artwork and templates supplied by the Deli Society, our team took ownership of the project, making recommendations on materials and production methods to help us achieve the best results for the client and their customers.
We produced physical samples of each item on a 250gsm (White Peak GC2) Folding Box Board following an initial consultation and prices.
The range of packaging produced includes the following styles:

These were supplied creased and glued ready to be wrapped around the meat selection pack.

A crashlock box with tuck end and diecut hole for the product to be viewed through, this product like the others is supplied flat and glued ready for quick and easy assembly.

Narrowing at the top, this chorizo packaging was creased and used interlocking flaps to hold position.
The chosen packaging board provided just the right level of protection and flexibility for the product whilst also being suitable for refrigeration - working well with our vegetable-based inks.
"Far'n'Beyond are a great print and packaging partner. We are so pleased with the finished packaging and the level of customer service provided by the team to make sure it reflects the high standards of our wine and cheese produce."

Following the test process and approval, we began production of the complete order. The vibrant, eye-catching pattern on the front of the designs delivers a consistent and memorable visual experience, so extra care was taken to ensure we maintained colour consistency across all the components.

Food packaging needs to strike a balance between security and customer appeal while not losing sight of the brand identity. A key component of the customer experience, especially for mail order products, is how a product is packaged can significantly impact the consumers' perceived value and enjoyment.

The packaging for The Deli Society is 100% recyclable and produced on sustainable material using the most efficient production methods to reduce waste.
At Far'n'Beyond we work with brands to produce cost-effective packaging solutions that protect and present your products whilst also ensuring they look great!
