At Far’n’Beyond we enjoy learning about our client’s businesses and discovering many of the original products they produce. Our recent packaging project with ‘Inked Grails’ was no different.
Inked Grails is an innovative garment business producing unique tie-dyed Nike and Adidas socks for customers throughout the UK.
Custom Sock Packaging
Zack Meays and Lauren Martin established the business to elevate their favourite sneakers and turn heads in the street.
They transform boring socks into eye-catching footwear that delivers on their goals, with each pair being unique thanks to their wash proof tie-dye techniques.
Zack approached us for a packaging sleeve for his socks that he sells on his online shop and after having seen our previous packaging designs on our website.
We first began by scoping out the packaging requirements, including how the products would be grouped and distributed and if there was any variable information such as sock size that needed to be included.
Branded Sock Sleeves
On receipt of a physical example of the product, our team began to develop a solution that would best demonstrate the product and keep the socks in place, two of the primary goals of ‘Inked Grails’.
Once we confirmed the dimensions, the best production method and whether a glued or interlocking sleeve would be most appropriate, we produced a physical mockup so the client could test the proposed solution.
The final design was printed in full colour on a 500mic packaging board, creased in four positions for a premium finish and secure grip around the product.
“I am so pleased with the packaging and the help from the team at Far’n’Beyond. Sam took a real interest in the product and ensured we were looked after throughout the process. Thanks!”
