With the increase of online retail and parcel deliveries continuing at over 15% year on year, the packaging is increasingly valuable in communicating brands in a busy environment.
Working with UK food brand Kettle Foods, we have produced several printed presentation boxes which follow their recipe values for making deliciously simple chips.
Supplied flat for easy transportation and storage, these easy to make boxes were designed to meet the exact size requirements specified by our client before they applied their branding to the specialist cardboard cartons.
Managing the challenge of a single colour full coverage print with a clean white inside, we selected the most appropriate method of production and materials to ensure a perfect finish that avoided potential print issues such as blushing.
The corrugated product containers utilised a ‘pizza box’ style opening and latch system to maintain rigidity when closed. The design of the carton is also optimised to maximise the branding opportunity.
Designed to hold the Kettle Foods’ range of handmade vegetable chips the boxes needed to withstand the journey through the courier network and protect the contents.
The Far’n’Beyond team is experienced in developing bespoke packaging boxes for a range of campaigns which ensures a strong physical frame that also delivers exceptional detail in print production.
Parcel volumes are expected to increase from 1.7bn in 2012 to 2.3bn items in 2023. For the first time, In August 2016, next day delivery became the most popular method of delivery for the first time.
These adjustments, along with many purchases being made via third party retailers, increase the importance of branding at the point of receipt for the customer.
