Today marks 10 years since the very start of Far’n’Beyond and we are celebrating with a nostalgic look back to 2005 and celebrating our success and challenges – which have made us bigger, better and stronger and ready for another 10 years of success!
It is also a great opportunity to go through the photo album and say a huge hello and thank you to several key members of the team who have been part of the far’n’beyond team over the last decade (excluding our current core team) a big wave for co-founder Edward, Manchester’s two loudest receptionists Laura & Beth, followed by a designer full of colour and still pursuing her dream of travelling 5 years on – Holly. They are amongst a name call of very talented, entertaining and memorable people (Tom, Emily & Toni) who have made the last 10 years very enjoyable.
So, what else launched in 2005?
It wasn’t a great year for entertainment stories or big celebrations, but here are few:
- Tony Blair was elected for a third term
- The Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles got married
- Live8 Concerts were held
- Liverpool won the Champions League in Istanbul
- Doctor Who was revived with Christopher Eccleston
- Best selling single was Tony Christie – ‘Is this the way to amarillo?’ featuring Peter Kay
In more business related news, another company who we share our birthday with is Youtube! They have also gone on to have some moderate success (!) over the last 10 years offering video streaming services and making cats particularly popular.
However, its our birthday that we are interested in today, so we are going to continue to indulge ourselves over the next couple of weeks with a selection of stories and posts focusing on far’n’beyond and the past 10 years. See posts below for more or click here.
The best thing about being established for over a decade is that we have been refining our knowledge and experience of all our Graphic Design, Printing & Digital Media products and services for all that time, making us the perfect marketing partner for your business now and in the future.
Last but not least, I would personally like to thank all of our clients, team members and suppliers from the last 10 years for your support and for challenging us to be bigger and better.
And if for some reason you have already heard of Youtube, but not of Far’n’Beyond, please contact us to find out more and see how we can help your business.
