To help raise awareness of the importance of pollinating plants and the fun of gardening, we have been donating seeds to local organisations to help them provide fun and engaging activities for children.

Our seeds are supported with growing instructions from our Tree Project initiative, highlighting the variety of our seed selection with new options being added all the time.
Pollinating insects are vital to our ecosystem and sunflowers in addition to looking amazing, growing up to 3m tall and being very easy to grow for children, they are brilliant at supporting bees and butterflies.
Sherburn Scouting Groups have been regularly planting our sunflowers for the last few years, whilst local schools have enjoyed wildflower seeds for their wild garden areas and broad beans for a quick-growing and highly satisfying vegetable plant.
The hard work of the teachers and volunteers in these organisations is key to helping protect the environment and educate the gardeners of the future.
One of our most satisfying achievements is producing branded products that have a positive impact on the environment and developing into market leaders within this space.
We are keen to support the environment with involvement with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Leeds Low Mow Areas, The Tree Project Initiative and Tree Planting Days with Make it Wild.
This spring, we have also donated enough wildflower seeds to cover over one kilometre and continue to support local schools and charities.
