Hearty Eggs were on the look out for a unique popup wobbler for their competition and campaign celebrating the rare double yolkers produced by their chickens.
Providing artwork to our team, we set out to investigate the best methods of production to enhance the egg design and maximise the impact when customers opened their boxes.
Establishing the best print for the popup wobblers, we printed, gloss laminated and applied the plastic strips to each of the promotional cut out cards.
The number of double yolkers from the Hearty Eggs hens varies a lot, but they are rare. Some of the flocks will lay one double yolker for every thousand single yolk eggs.
Competition winners would receive 30 double yolk eggs which were established by knowing they’re going to be the largest eggs from the youngest flocks. Once selected the eggs, the Hearty Eggs team would “candle” them. This involves holding the eggs up to bright light to see through the shell and spot the two yolks.
