The team at Far’n’Beyond were approached by baby-wearing specialists ‘Wrapamore’ after we had been recommended to them by another client.
Wrapamore was set up by Vikki Herbert to promote babywearing and inform/support parents who wish to wear their babies through consultations, workshops and advice.
Our design team was provided with the logo, they then researched the industry and competition and discussed styles with Vikki at Wrapamore before starting work on the design of the promotional literature, which would provide the identity and brand for the website.
To deliver a consistent feel from design to print, we decided to use a recycled pulp card material for the flyers, which delivers a warm and natural finish and was reflective of the artwork produced.
Website and E-commerce Functionality
For the next stage, the team took the images and style from the promotional literature to create a feature-rich website, which includes information pages, contact forms, an easy-to-update blog and an online shop for visitors to purchase baby wraps/slings directly from Wrapamore.
Across the whole project, Far’n’Beyond efficiently delivered all aspects of setup, product management and e-commerce functionality using a secure payment gateway through PayPal.
The website was designed to be managed by the client going forward so we have now handed over the content management to Wrapamore and provided detailed video instructions on how to manage the website, e-commerce shopping area and improve Search Engine Optimisation as the website evolves and develops.
