We were privileged to support our long-term client FREE NOW with the print of taxi cab graphics for the Mercury Music Award.
The team at Far'n'Beyond have worked with FREE NOW since its UK launch providing creative design, print, merchandise and digital content, so when the email landed requesting the production of eleven custom taxi graphics, we set to work.
The Mercury Prize celebrates and promotes the best of British and Irish music, with the 'Album of the Year' recognised as one of the most significant accolades in music.

As the headline sponsor, FREE NOW required branded London Taxis to drive the finalists to the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith .
With the artwork supplied, we began production of the individual graphics that included the artist and album cover.
The graphics were printed on polymeric grade self-adhesive vinyl with matt lamination. It is a soft, premium material that is easy to apply and great for printing in full colour.
Each black cab had artwork for each side, specifically designed to fit the shape of the iconic Hackney Carriage, including the nominated artists album covers, Mercury Prize branding and FREE NOW logos.
With the artwork proofed with the client, we began printing the graphics before they were machine cut and backed in application adhesive.
As always at Far'n'Beyond, great care and attention was taken by our production team to ensure the graphics were produced to the highest standard, cut out with precision and prepared for installation.

Due to the way such graphics are supplied and applied, it was essential that our team produced the graphics in sets and labelled them clearly so they could be accurately applied.
Printed to the highest standards and delivered on time, the whole team were delighted to see them lined up outside the venue ahead of the awards ceremony.
