Beer52 is the world's most popular beer club. To maintain that sense of community spirit, they created a craft beer advent calendar with the opportunity to win a prize with every box.
The highly popular advent calendar includes 24 unique and fresh craft beers from 17 different countries and a scratch card with prizes including free cases of beer, a year of beer subscription and much more.
Supplying artwork that perfectly matches their brand style and identity, each scratch card has six scratch-off panels which reveal a mix of festive icons.
Three boxes must match for the customer to win, with a unique redemption code so the prize can be easily claimed online via the Beer52 website.
At Far'n'Beyond, we have a range of processes that ensure only the correct mix of scratch cards are distributed into circulation, with strict data management systems in place.
Each card variation is printed, quality-checked and collated before being covered with a silver latex panel to hide the prizes. The cards are then either supplied by prize to ensure even distribution or as a random mix, as in the case of this project.
Each card has a unique redemption code, so this data supplied from as a CSV file is overprinted digitally to correctly corresponding designs.
The scratch cards are then securely packaged for distribution to the client, ready for inserting into the advent calendar beer boxes.
The scratch cards are printed in full colour on both sides onto a sustainable 300gsm silk artboard, providing a vibrant and high-quality finish.
Our team checked the artwork to ensure the contrast between the prizes and the background wouldn't show through the scratch area, alongside our standard artwork checks.
