We were delighted to work with Secondsight to bring the National Pension Tracing Day campaign to life at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
Supporting their Licence to Trace campaign, the pop-up encouraged people to consider whether they might have lost or forgotten pension savings, and to take the first steps toward finding them.
Incorporating the print, production and out-of-hours installation of the display, our team worked tirelessly to ensure the display was ready for staff to bring the extra detail and begin their mission as the centre opened for the one-day event.
Based on the concept drawings from the event team, we developed a set that would stand out in the busy shopping centre, whilst ensuring it was a welcoming place for conversations.

The main focal point was a large curved freestanding exhibition display, featuring the National Pension Tracing Day branding and campaign message, which created a clearly defined event area without closing it off from passing shoppers.
Alongside the main exhibition backdrop, we produced a branded event counter, promotional floor stickers and an A4 strut card featuring competition instructions.
We also supplied our freestanding digital advertising totem, giving the team another way to share campaign content and catch the attention of passing shoppers.

Bringing together printed venue signage, digital content and branded display products helped create a coordinated campaign across the full event space.
In addition to the printed materials, we also sourced and supplied all the furniture and finishing touches needed to make the area practical and inviting.
“Working with Gavin and the team was a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish.
They took our vision for National Pension Tracing Day and transformed it into an activation that not only looked fantastic but delivered real engagement with the public.
Their creativity, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile helped make one of the biggest moments in our campaign a real success.”

Comfortable sofas, armchairs and coffee tables created space for longer conversations, while poseur tables and stools provided informal areas for shorter interactions. Branded counters gave the event team practical positions for campaign information and the competition.
Plants were positioned throughout the stand to soften the larger display elements and help create a more welcoming environment within the shopping centre.

By managing the furniture, planting, display equipment and event product hire alongside the print production, we could make sure everything arrived together and worked as one complete space.
With an event like this, much of the work happens before the first visitor arrives.
Our installation team travelled to Bluewater and began setting up after the shopping centre closed at 10pm on Friday evening. The exhibition display was assembled, the graphics and floor stickers installed, the furniture positioned and the digital screen, counters and plants prepared for the following morning.

This meant the Secondsight team could arrive at a finished event space and concentrate on engaging with visitors rather than worrying about equipment, furniture or installation.
Once the event was over, our team returned after the shopping centre had closed to dismantle the display, collect the hired equipment and remove all campaign materials. The area was then cleared and returned to its original condition.
The finished activation transformed an open area of Bluewater Shopping Centre into a distinctive and welcoming space for National Pension Tracing Day.
From producing the printed displays and sourcing the furniture to managing delivery, overnight installation and final derig, our team looked after the practical details needed to get the event up and running smoothly.

Our exhibition production and event management service brings project management, print, display equipment, furniture hire, logistics, installation and derig together, giving clients one experienced team to manage every stage of their event.
