Trufe, is an independent mortgage broker and commercial funding specialist based in Yorkshire. The company is committed to providing simple, honest guidance and being clear about all aspects of any agreement.
As the marketing partner for trufe, we were tasked with developing a standalone campaign, which communicated the benefits of switching mortgages and the opportunities for customers who are at the end of their fixed rate period to save money.
Mortgage Switch Campaign
The ‘Mortgage Switch‘ project brought together our skills of Creative Design, Printing, Digital Media & Marketing to create a cohesive campaign.
The Far’n’Beyond team completed thorough market research into the remortgage world in order to create an identity and campaign that captures the feeling of being able to switch mortgage and save money and not have to worry about the process, leaving trufe. to do the job.
It was during this process that ‘Mortgage Switch’ was born, with branding, website content, printed literature, product launch event, social media, video production, press release and advertising all managed inhouse.

Mortgage Switch from trufe. is a hassle-free, straightforward service that quickly reviews your current mortgage and either switches you to a better deal with your current lender or moves you to a new mortgage company if it will save you money.
There are two key components to the #MortgageSwitch campaign concept.

Using a mortgage advisor has many benefits, particularly the ability to search and compare hundreds of mortgages based on your specific scenario.
Using the tagline ‘There could be a better mortgage out there!’ we used a space theme to help communicate that the search for a better mortgage is not restricted to a high street bank or comparison website.
Its a big job, Sorted!
Saving money feels great, as does knowing you are on the most suitable deal for your situation. Mortgage Switch checks your current mortgage against other providers to establish if you should switch.
The video in the campaign highlights the satisfaction of getting your mortgage sorted with the knowledge a qualified expert has managed the whole process.
The dancing astronauts combine the space theme with the satisfaction achieved by using #MortgageSwitch
Looking to produce an engaging video for distribution across social media channels, within a budget is always a challenge, but one that we thrive on.
The key narrative was to show the excitement and joy of switching mortgage and actually realising how simple & straightforward it can be with trufe.
Bringing together graphics, video and music, the Far’n’Beyond team produced various versions of the video to suite each publishing platform.

We are delighted that the campaign has demonstrated success in increasing remortgage applications for trufe. whilst also obtaining positive feedback from the client.
The Mortgage Switch product has also been recognised at the 2020 Yorkshire Financial Awards as a finalist for the ‘Innovative Product of the Year’ category.
