With over 30 years’ experience and an unrivalled in-house expert team, C3S is established as an international market leader across several built environment disciplines.
C3S approached far’n’beyond because it was looking to undertake a complete reinvention of its brand, business model and marketing tools.
The company consists of several specialist divisions that had never been brought together into one central marketing strategy, so there was often an incoherent and disjointed message to employees, customers and suppliers. It was an imperative of the project that each specialism would be clearly and distinctly defined but with an overarching, unified brand and strategy that explains to all stakeholders the unity of the divisions.
To deliver its reinvention and re-engage the business with its customers and employees, C3S commissioned far’n’beyond to develop a new brand identity, website and a range of printed solutions.
The team working on the project established three key areas that should be marketed as separate identities under the C3S brand:
Bespoke solutions that protect people and property in the built environment.
High quality, cost effective, portable modular buildings for a variety of construction scenarios.
Providing a visually inspiring portfolio for the high quality and unique interior joinery solutions that C3S manufactures and installs.
The main focus of the logo is the form of a shield, which signifies the defence and protection that C3S offers through its protection solutions. The cube or building block is reflective of the modular buildings, the protected building envelope and also the craftsmanship of the joinery process. The ‘C’ and ‘3’ from the brand’s name are also represented with 3 shapes combined to create the shield and also a subtle ‘C’ mirrored in the design.
The Logo Concept
For the main C3S brand, two shades of blue have been selected to reflect trust and protection.
In order to give some separation to the Joinery and Modular brands, we selected appropriate colours that compliment the original branding.
After significant research at the branding and identity stages, the creative and digital team started work on four new websites, all designed to align with the new look C3S.
With our now established, detailed understanding of the organisation and long-term marketing objectives, we worked with C3S to develop concise content and a structure that would maximise the user experience across all three brands.
The websites are designed to be sales funnel focussed and have all been optimised with SEO and set up with analytics so that C3S can analyse and monitor visitors to the site.Find out more about our Website Packages
In addition to the design and digital work undertaken, we also worked with C3S to produce numerous printed products and solutions. These included letterheads, compliment slips, business cards, desk pads, mugs and promotional pens.
As part of the package we rebranded all of the C3S vehicles to match the new logo and design.
The final stage of the print part of the project was to evaluate, update and install all exterior signage at the C3S offices.
